While most of the original plumbing fixtures and accessories have been removed previously, there still remains a few terminations and fixtures which will de removed.
Prior to reconstruction activities the sanitary drain lines will be investigated for causal issues related to flooding and sewage back up. These issues will be corrected to ensure proper functionality.
Restoration of flooring systems
Removal and disposal of the existing light fixtures.
Removal and disposal of the existing acoustical ceiling tile system.
Existing doors and frames will be restored if possible: prepped and painted. Hardware will be cleaned/polished and reinstalled if possible. Door frames and hardware replaced if necessary.
Shower stalls will receive new partitions with a seat, color to be selected by the district.
Shower fixtures will be installed/ upgraded to meet low flow fixture requirements.
If the district chooses to remove the shower function from the space, the alternative scope of work includes the conversion of shower areas to storage locker areas. This will include the demolition of the shower stalls, floor curbs, and plumbing line capping. Floors will be capped, patched and prepped to receive new flooring system. Walls will be capped, patched and prepped to receive new wall coating system.
New toilet partitions partitions will be installed in the same locations as originally designed.
New toilets, sinks and faucets will be installed.
New locker system will be installed, new bench seating installed.
New moisture resistance ceiling system and grid will be installed throughout the locker room. Low voltage devices will be removed and reinstalled, or provided where absent and installed. New LED light fixtures will be installed.
New epoxy flooring system will be installed throughout the locker room.
Perimeter walls will be patched, prepped and painted.
Perimeter electrical outlets and switches will be removed and new electrical outlets and switches will be installed.
New code compliant exhaust and fresh air induction to the subject space.
