The HVAC system is comprised of multiple designs. The newest systems provide independent heating and cooling, and the older sections rely on the boiler system to provide heat, and window units for cooling in some areas. Importantly, no areas are receiving mechanically induced fresh air, and there is no system humidity control. The absence of fresh air induction and humidity regulation results in poor air quality. Ceiling tile degradation is symptomatic of high humidity. There is evidence of leaking condensate lines in several ceiling mounted air units.
